Summary:Cherniaev interviews T. I. Oizerman about the significant landmarks in the institute's development, which coincides with and reflects the history of the country over the past eighty years. Oizerman recalls some episodes from the earliest years of the existence of the Institute of Philosophy. As is well known, the institute was established on the base of the Philosophy Section of the Communist Academy. And, while still a first-year student in the philosophy faculty of the MIPLH, he happened to be present at one of the sessions of this first Institute of Philosophy of the Communist Academy in 1933.
