Description
Summary:This paper investigates the changes taking place in the UK life and pensions industry, in particular the squeeze on product providers taking place through a difficult and sometimes conflicting combination of changing demography, regulatory pressure to reduce costs and improve consumer choice, new information technology and distribution channel change. It suggests that product providers can no longer hedge their bets and must make and implement clear decisions about the role they will play in the life and pensions value chain.
