Summary: | Wall shear stress and wall streamline direction measurements were conducted on a generic delta wing model to demonstrate the potential of the white-light oil-film interferometry in three-dimensional flows. With the proposed algorithm, an automatic oil-film thickness calculation is possible and yields reproducible and plausible wall shear stress distributions on the leeward side of the delta wing for various angles of attack.
