Description
Summary:Under hydrothermal conditions, Beta zeolites with a hierarchical pore system are synthesized using two structurally-directing agents: tetraethylammonium hydroxide and cationic polymer polydialldimethylammonium chloride. Zeolites with the average pore size of 1.2 to 7.2 nm were obtained by varying the synthesis conditions. The dependence of the sorption capacity of the samples (using thiamine hydrochloride as an example) on the surface properties of zeolites, namely, on the concentration of the Lewis acid sites (LAS) with p K a 14.2, is found. Dependence of the sorption ability of the samples on their porous-texture characteristics is not found.
