Summary: | Under hydrothermal conditions, Beta zeolites with a hierarchical pore system are synthesized using two structurally-directing agents: tetraethylammonium hydroxide and cationic polymer polydialldimethylammonium chloride. Zeolites with the average pore size of 1.2 to 7.2 nm were obtained by varying the synthesis conditions.
