Description
Summary:This paper presents the development of a model version of a software package for analyzing the dynamics of dangerous exogenous processes in view of the assessment of natural risks. The work was performed with thermokarst processes and subsidence processes affecting linear engineering structures as examples. Software package development was based on the use of mathematical landscape morphology approaches and the corresponding mathematical models of the morphological structure. Both the expansion of existing foci and the emergence of new foci during pipeline operation were considered in the software package as causes of damage to a linear engineering structure. Decisions on the probability of damage to the structure were based on the corresponding model. The materials of repeated remote surveys served as the input data for the software package, and the probability of damage to the engineering structure within a given time was calculated as a result.
