Summary:Expediency of application of the axisdiagonal compressor from the point of view of weight and dimensional parameters is described. The possibility of optimizing the axial stage in an axisdiagonal compressor by the degree of pressure increase at the initial stages of design is shown. The article describes the implementation of the known method for solving the optimization problem of gas dynamic characteristics. It is confirmed that additional comparisons with specialized 3D calculations and by the Lieblein loading parameters are necessary to obtain physically justified optimization results.
