Description
Summary:Over the last 60 years, there have been incorrigible thought towards the development and design of hospital facilities in lighting. In specialty hospitals, new standards in lighting for patient rooms and design of healthy environments have been the subject of architectural thinking. Dimmed light emitting diode (LED) luminaries will provide visual comfort with appropriate optics during patient’s monitoring. Not only the ambience in the patient room but also the task of transferring patient’s health care information can be accomplished via illumination and communication technology which includes LED lighting together with light fidelity technology. In this paper we propose a hybrid digital dimming modulation which combines variable delta sigma modulation dimming modulation technique with reverse polarity optical OFDM data modulation technique to dim the LEDs installed in the patient’s room and to transfer the patient’s health care details.
