Summary: | The data of atomic force microscopy studies of the cleavage surface morphology of a bismuth single crystal after exposure to atomic hydrogen are presented. It has been established that as a result of exposure to atomic hydrogen, nanocrystalline formations appear on the cleavage plane. The mechanism and features of the surface topography reconstruction are discussed. New data on the hierarchy of nano-formations are presented. |
