Halloysite as a Zeolite Catalyst Component for Converting Dimethyl Ether Into Hydrocarbons

The texture and acidity of HZSM-5 zeolite catalysts with Al 2 O 3 , and halloysite aluminosilicate nanotubes as binders were studied. The stability and catalytic activity of the catalysts were studied for conversion of dimethyl ether into hydrocarbons. Compared to Al 2 O 3 use of halloysite redistri...

Description
Summary:The texture and acidity of HZSM-5 zeolite catalysts with Al 2 O 3 , and halloysite aluminosilicate nanotubes as binders were studied. The stability and catalytic activity of the catalysts were studied for conversion of dimethyl ether into hydrocarbons. Compared to Al 2 O 3 use of halloysite redistributed the products toward formation of C 5 —C 8 hydrocarbons.
