Description
Summary:We consider the class of four-dimensional gauged supergravities whose maximally symmetricground statesleave only one of thetwo supersymmetriesintact. For these theories we derive the low-energy effective action below the scale of partial super-symmetry breaking and compute the couplings in terms of the ‘input data’. We show that this effective action satisfies the constraints of supergravity in that its σ-model metric is Kähler, while the superpotential and the gauge kinetic functions are holomorphic. As an example we discuss the effective supergravity of type II compactifications.
