Summary: | In present scenario Graphene Oxide (GO) is the most trending material in the area of energy conversion and storage for device fabrication purpose, due to oxygen containing functional groups. In this work Graphene oxide was synthesized through graphite powder by two different approaches in first approach oxidisation of graphite is done at room temperature and in second approach oxidisation is done at 90 to 95°C for few hours. Then the prepared GO powder was characterized by Raman spectra and FT-IR spectra. Electrodes of these two materials were prepared for capacitance performance which shows normally treated Graphene oxide (NGO) has better capaceatvie performance as compared to heat treated Graphene Oxide (HGO) and Impedance study shows NGO have low Impedance as compared to HGO. |
