Summary:The aim of this research work is to find the numerical solutions of incompressible, viscous and electrically conducting Casson fluid flow past a vertical plate in presence of heat and mass transfer, transverse magnetic field. In energy equation, the influence of heat absorption is considered. The fundamental equations of the flow field are converted into linear partial differential equations, are solved using an efficient and versatile finite element method. After finding the solutions, we discussed the velocity, temperature and concentration profiles with the help of graphs by variation of engineering parameters for discussing the flow field. Also, with the variation of same parameters, we compared the present numerical values of Skin-friction coefficient, rate of heat and mass transfer coefficients with the available results in literature.
