Summary:—The problem of synthesizing an inhomogeneous anisotropic impedance plane reflecting a homogeneous plane wave in a given direction with the required polarization transformation is solved. Reflection coefficients are obtained for a nonhomogeneous anisotropic impedance plane. For the first time, restrictions on the class of scattering diagrams obtained using a dense lattice of orthogonal reactance bands with a constant orientation along the structure are formulated. The synthesis problem is solved for given directions of wave reflection and for given homogeneous plane waves reflected in a given direction with the required polarization. Numerical results are presented.
