Summary: | The possibility of obtaining nanofiltration membranes by depositing metal-oxide nanopowders on ceramic substrates with macropores is discussed. Titanium, aluminum, and magnesium oxides obtained by the plasma thermal method were chosen for the selective layer. The initial powders as well as coatings after deposition were analyzed by scanning electron and atomic-force microscopy. The technology for obtaining selective layers on ceramic substrates is described. The characteristics of the obtained nanofiltration membranes were studied on a laboratory desalination setup. |
