Summary:There are difficulties regarding the identification of twice-exceptional students in Turkey. These children can be identified properly by way of multidimensional assessment. The purpose of the present study was to examine through family interviews, child interviews, products of the child and non-verbal intelligence tests the areas of difficulty and ability areas for Alp who has a probability of being identified with learning disabilities and giftedness. A single-subject case study model has been utilised for the study. Semi-structured interview form was applied during the study to acquire the opinions of the family. Study sample analysis and reading fluency activities were carried out in order to analyse the difficulties in reading and writing. Non-verbal intelligence tests were applied for identifying non-verbal cognitive ability. Expert opinions were taken for examining the products of the child. Based on the acquired findings, it was concluded that Alp can be a twice exceptional child.
