Summary: | This article illustrates the influence of viscous dissipation on free convective flow past an impulsively moving vertical plate with ramped temperature. In order to analyze all the essential features, the flow governing partial differential equations are solved numerically by utilizing Finite element technique, consequently obtained results are displayed graphically. The effects of skin friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are exhibited in a tabular form. Comparison is made with previously published literature and a great coordination between the results exist. |
