Summary: | Model systems were proposed, using previously obtained experimental data, for investigating the mechanism of regulation of oxidative processes in lipids isolated from natural objects, preparations, and various components of aqueous medium. The models include low-temperature oxidation of methyl oleate in a thin layer as a model system of lipid peroxidation in biological membranes; computer simulation to determine the involvement of lipids and biologically active substances at different stages of autoxidation; and model of spontaneous autoxidation of lecithin in aqueous solution to assess the ability of aqueous medium components to participate in the regulation of oxidative processes in biological systems. |
