How much pressure can the right ventricle generate? Isolated congenital pulmonary valve stenosis in an adult
Pulmonary stenosis is the most common reason of right ventricular outflow tract obstruction. Isolated pulmonary valvular stenosis constitutes 7% to 10% of patients with congenital heart disease in all age groups. We present a case of isolated pulmonary stenosis with 213 mmHg transvalvular gradient,...

Summary: | Pulmonary stenosis is the most common reason of right ventricular outflow tract obstruction. Isolated pulmonary valvular stenosis constitutes 7% to 10% of patients with congenital heart disease in all age groups. We present a case of isolated pulmonary stenosis with 213 mmHg transvalvular gradient, which to our knowledge, is the most severe transpulmonic gradient in the literature. |
