Description
Summary:The purpose of this study is to better understand the psychological well-being of aged workers in the job demands-resources model. We conducted a latent profile analysis on job demands, job resources, and personal resources using responses of 1018 middle-aged adults from the National Survey of Midlife Development in the United States (MIDUS 3) dataset. Results suggested four latent profiles. Differences in the research variables between the profiles were examined using analysis of variance. Multiple regression analyses were conducted to compare the effects of the antecedents on well-being between the latent profiles. Implications for both HRD researchers and professionals are discussed.
