Description
Summary:When people speak of social movements and social change they often cite a quote from cultural anthropologist Margaret Mead who said something like (the exact quote is disputed), "never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Communication Research Trends offers a fitting commemoration of its own: an overview of the communication research that addresses the suffrage movement in the united States and of the communication dimensions of that movement at its centennial. Communication Research Trends thanks Professor Rita Rosenthal of Boston College for suggesting this topic and encouraging the work on it.
