Description
Summary:Schipper shares how she conquer the final frontier of learning. She recounts the time when she completed her family medicine residency in 2001 where she felt well prepared to care for patients, mentor students, and confer with colleagues. She initially performed a locum in a rural community and had the full scope of practice options in front of her. Moreover, she commends the efforts of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) in developing PM Prep tool to address an identified need and ease the pressures that residents and new-in-practice family physicians experience as they launch their careers.
