description Multi-criteria decision-making methods considers characteristic parameters and qualitative criteria to assign importance to each alternative in order to select the best option between all the preselected choices. Using these methods, a list of all the possible choices from the best to the worst suitable materials is obtained taking into account different material selection criteria. According to the results, Permalloy would be the best material for the base of an induction pot.
