Summary: | An approach for the preparation of boronated γ‐lactams via palladium‐catalyzed boryldifluoroalkylation of alkenes with α‐bromodifluoroacetamides was developed. Mechanistic studies indicated that this reaction may involve an intramolecular radical cascade cyclization process. |
