Summary: | Design, construction and operation of freezing plants and similar structures with large energy demand have an substantial impact on the environment, thus their proper analysis and computational prediction and optimization of energy consumption is needed: the crucial one is the supplied heat forcing the preservation of the needed temperature level. This paper sketches the possibility of the detailed computational evaluation of such heat, as the efficient support for the design of particular claddings, walls, ceiling, floor, etc. layers and appropriate material choice, due to their thermal insulation and accumulation abilities. As an application, one instructive example of a real freezing plant is presented. |
