Summary: | The conditions for modifying the carbon sorbent with glycolic acid using a vacuum rotary evaporator were worked out: duration of synthesis, modifier consumption. A modified carbon sorbent was obtained. The influence of the glycolic acid concentration on the physicochemical properties of the samples (specific surface area, modifier content, qualitative composition of functional groups and the content of oxygen-containing groups on the surface) was established. The possibility of modifier migration from the surface of modified samples upon contact with physiological saline was investigated. |
