Summary: | In this work, an analytical model for permittivity measurements of liquid materials is presented. It uses a variant of the transmission line method with a tubular sample holder. The proposed formulation is simple, easy to deal with and allows straightforward conversion between the direct and the inverse solutions of the problem. Measurement results presented maximum relative errors of about 10% when compared to available data in the literature. It is shown to be suitable for measurements of materials over a wide range of relative permittivities. |
