En este sentido, para el caso de las aplicaciones móviles se ha definido el modelo de usabilidad PACMAD (People At the Centre of Mobile Application Development), el cual reúne atributos significativos de diferentes modelos de usabilidad para crear uno más completo, que además fue diseñado para para abordar las limitaciones de los modelos de usabilidad existentes cuando se aplica a dispositivos móviles (Harrison, Flood, & Duce, 2013).
