Summary:The Peruvian University Los Andes, currently has serious problems regarding the environmental part with an inappropriate use of public services (water, electricity, internet, telephone and others), also in the collection of solid waste, recyclable material and organic waste in the environments of the university campus (classrooms, corridors, toilets, gardens). In order for there to be a good environmental activity, it is important to know the training that each university student has in solving environmental problems that is evidenced by teaching in classrooms, it also implies providing all the knowledge, capacities and abilities that they must obtain the students, so that in the future they can be good professionals, solving environmental problems that currently afflict us. For this, the instrument (questionnaire) was applied to a population of 35,154 and the sample of 380 among personnel (teachers, non-teachers, students and graduates). Keywords: environmental variable, internal environmental variable, solid waste and organic waste. 1.Introducción El problema en el que se centra la investigación es describir cómo se viene desenvolviendo la variable ambiental en la Universidad Peruana Los Andes, con sus limitaciones, distorsiones, carencias, así como su prospectiva.
