Description
Summary:Moderate levels of calcium or magnesium were applied to two cultivars of subirrigated, potted, pinched chrysanthemums during vegetative growth. Market-quality plants were produced with sufficient leaf-calcium or leaf-magnesium even though the delivery of the respective nutrient could be reduced by approximately 87.5%, compared with industry standards. This practice could contribute to low-input production of floricultural crops.
