description Relevance of the research is conditioned by the growth of competition on the space services market, determined by the increase in competitiveness of the services being sold due to the efficiency of economic processes at all stages of their life cycle: service development planning, development of the service, launch of the service on the market, increase in the volume of service sales, market saturation, reduction of sales. The most important stage of the space service life cycle is the stage of its creation by an organization, which, as a rule, has competences in developing methods and algorithms of remote sensing data processing and other satellite information resources. The availability of resource support to create radical innovations underlying the development of highly competitive satellite services is determined by the scientific and technological potential of the developing organization, i.e. a combination of different types of resources and factors, including production, technological, financial and economic, intellectual, research and other resources needed for innovation activities. Due to this, in the article we see a model of an economical assessment of the satellite services with the consideration of their life cycles and the type of resources used in such a process. They also take into account the influence of the competitive costs and the competitive edge of the services. The proposed method of assessment of resource support uses the known cost of development of basic provided services as initial information for the development of new remote sensing services depending on the target technical characteristics.
