Effect of Heating in the Intercritical Temperature Range on Formation of Austenite and Structure of Ultralow-Carbon Steel

Using micrographic, dilatometric, and high-temperature XRD methods, the kinetics of formation of austenite is studied under continuous heating of ultrafine-grained 08G2B steel in two initial states—after quenching and normalization.
