Summary: | We propose approaches to the development and construction of an easy-to-make compact accelerator of positive multiply charged metal ions in different charge states in the energy range of 1–500 keV. Such accelerator can be used in research and applied works in the field of advanced ion-beam technologies. Computer simulation of ion beam trajectories in the accelerator using the SIMON 8.0 code confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed approach. |
