description | Prior to coming to AACRAO, he served as the executive director for the Council of Presidents, an association of the six public baccalaureate degree granting institutions in the state of Washington. Reilly: I was a late arriver to the enrollment profession, having worked in coal mines, theater, and archaeology before taking a position in the admissions office at Washington State University in my early thirties. [...]I have to say this has all come to fruition because of a supportive board, an engaged membership, and a talented staff at AACRAO. von Munkwitz-Smith: When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, AACRAO had to make some very difficult decisions, including canceling the Annual Meeting and the Technology and Transfer Conference and moving the SEM Conference to be fully online, moving to a remote working environment, and reducing revenue and expenses. Reilly: The Comprehensive Learner Record Project has led to a rich partnership with NASPA and introduced us to new partners such as NILOA, IMS Global, and the Chamber of Commerce Foundation. |
