Description
Summary:In the management of organizational structures, ongoing analysis of the situation in such complex objects offers the prospect of timely and appropriate management decisions. A model and algorithm for situational analysis of the current factor space permits the creation of automatic situational management systems that are based on knowledge bases and contain a set of management decisions corresponding to particular situations. In using that knowledge base and the situational management system as a whole, it is difficult to assess and classify the situations. For organizational structures, such situations are described by a multidimensional set of quantitative–qualitative indices that differ in form and content (that is, in the factor space). In this context, decision making may be based on the concept of the situational awareness of the decision maker, which reflects the decision maker’s perception, assessments, recognition, and understanding of the situation, as well as the soundness of forecasts of the object’s future condition.
