H) was found to be a highly efficient and recoverable organocatalyst for the synthesis of α-aminonitriles with good to high yields. The synthesized organocatalyst (CN-Bu-SO
3
H) was characterized by FTIR, EDS, XRD, FESEM, and TGA analyses. The simple experimental method, using nontoxic solvents, easy recovery, and the reusability of the catalyst have led to the development of an environmentally friendly approach to the synthesis of α-aminonitriles.
