description The term bioterrorism refers to the use or threat of use of biological agents, infectious diseases (viruses, bacteria, parasites and fungi), their toxins both in their natural state or highly modified, meant to spread fear, unrest, panic, terror or to intimidate an individual, a group of people or the population of one or more states for religious, political, ideological, economical or personal purposes. There has only been one account of nuclear weapons being used, during the Second World War, which led to the "unconditional surrender of Japan" (in the year 1945) after the launch of two nuclear bombs, "Little Boy" on Hiroshima and three days later "Fat Man" on Nagasaki, both led to overwhelming aftermaths, and colateral medical effects that are continuing to this day. 3. The categories are as follows: S those who aim for "punishing the nonbelievers" and their physical elimination from the land that they consider to be defiled by the nonbelievers; S those who seek vengeance for the losses suffered by the members of the organization, or the community they claim to represent; S those who establish themselves in an asymmetrical response against the superior "aggressor", targeting their aggressors access to resources, the economical and financial power, international influence, millitary and civillian technology and weapon systems; S those that are politically extremist, fanatics. The immediate purpose is to kill as many people as possible, in the least amount of time, to create panic and rout, to frighten, to induce and mentain a state of terror amongst the targeted populace and to attract the attention of the mass-media. 2.Typology of toxic and biological agents The idea that terrorist groups do not have sufficiently advanced technologies required to manufacture nuclear ammunition, dangerous toxic and biological agents, does not hold up any longer.
