Description
Summary:The process of gear shifting in vehicles automatic transmissions is considered in the paper as the shock interaction of transmission elements. Two mathematical models are proposed and considered for simulation the gear shifting processes. Computer simulation of the models’ movement during acceleration of a vehicle, as well as modes of low - and high-frequency gear shift cycling (self-oscillations of the output shaft of the gearbox) is carried out. Methods for decreasing the amplitude of the gearbox output shaft oscillations caused by the impact nature of gear shifting are proposed.
