Summary: | The conductivity in the 2D Rayleigh model (isotropic matrix with a periodic distribution of circular inclusions) is considered for the critical concentration (percolation threshold). The effective conductivity of the model with the metal–ideal conductor phase transition is calculated using the binary approximation. The corresponding effective conductivity for an alternative model with a metal–insulator transition is determined from the Keller–Dykhne reciprocity relation. |
