Description
Summary:Drug abuse among primary school students is a serious problem and escalating number of cases by year demands a highly effective prevention strategy. This study aimed to emphasize the prevention method by developing the ACE-Mind module using coping skills based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach (CBT). This involved the use of Nowicki - Strickland Locus of Control, Coppersmith Self Esteem Inventory, The Child and Youth Resilience Measure (CYRM) and The Muslim Religiosity - Personality Inventory (MRPI). Data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. The sample used in this study consist of students with low scores in four domains namely locus of control, self-esteem, resilience and religion. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. The results have shown that the ACE-Mind Module successfully increases the locus of control, self-esteem, resilience and religion among the student at risk.
