Summary: | The paper is devoted to the investigation of the flow over flying wing surface. The main idea behind this work was to study the flow over full-sized unmanned aerial vehicle model for in-flight Reynolds numbers. Three-dimensional roughness element was placed on the leading edge as the generator of stationary disturbance. Using hot-wire anemometry the inner structure of this disturbance was shown. It consist of two counter-rotating disturbances different in size. This difference results from presence of cross-flow over the surface of the wing. |
