Summary:The results of heat and power and exergy analysis of the potential of new and existing technologies for reducing carbon dioxide emissions and coke consumption, increasing cast iron production through the use of hydrogen and hydrogen-containing fuel additives, the use of metal additives, increasing the blast temperature, as well as reducing heat losses and improving gas distribution in the blast furnace, are presented.
