Summary: | Background: Research was conducted as a descriptive and relational manner in order to examine the effect of rational drug use on health perception and drug compliance in chronic diseases. Methodology: Research population consisted of patients hospitalized in the Internal Medicine Services of Siirt State Hospital. Sample of study consisted of 257 patients. The patient identification form, health perception scale, rational drug use scale, and morisky 8-item medication adherence questionnaire (MMAS-8) were used for data collection.
