Description
Summary:Within the framework of the modified potential cluster model with forbidden states, radiative n 12 С capture at energies from 10 –5 keV to 5 MeV has been considered with allowance for the wide resonance at E x = 8.2 MeV. It has been shown that it is possible, with the help of potentials that have been matched with bound state energies, to accurately reproduce the available experimental data. Reaction rates of n 12 C capture have been calculated on the basis of the obtained total cross sections. Results for the reaction rates are approximated by simple expressions, which simplifies their use in applied studies.
