Summary:Using X-ray diffraction analysis, we studied the effect of a number of deposition parameters of magnetron TiN-Pb coatings on substrates made of 30KhGSA and 12Kh18N10T steels on the structure of the coatings. It is shown that at a current value of 0.1 A on the Pb cathode, the coating consists mainly of TiN with a pronounced (111) texture. An increase in the current at the Pb cathode to 0.2 A leads to the dominance of Pb and PbO in the coating structure. The influence of ion-assisted and nitrogen consumption on the structure of coatings is noted.
