Summary: | The raw materials Iris sibirica L. were obtained by biotechnological methods. The relationship between biomass accumulation and a mangiferin content is peculir to Siberian iris. On a medium with 5.0 μM BA supplemented with auxin, the xanton content in the phytomass sharply decreased with an increase in the total shoot height. To maintain a balance between biomass accumulation and a mangiferin content in I. sibirica, it is recommended to use media with 2.5 μM BA supplemented with auxin. Water and ethanolic extracts of I. sibirica showed a high antriviral activity against herpes simplex virus of type 1. |
