Summary:Nitrogen oxide (NOx) of marine diesel engine is a great denger to environment, which is one of the world's recognized atmospheric pollutants. In this paper, on the basis of describing the international emission regalations and the NOx generatingroute, we have introduced the emission control technology and the development tendency of the pretreatment, in-machine purification and after- treatment. It can provide some guidance for China's reseach and development.
