Summary: | Deep-seated processes in the tectonosphere of geosynclines are analyzed in terms of the advection-polymorphism hypothesis. It has been shown that the said hypothesis makes it possible to explain, without resorting to numerical tailoring, major events in geological history (formation of the sedimentary veneer, magmatism, temperatures prevailing at large depths), as well as anomalies of the heat flow, seismic wave velocities, gravity field, and electrical conductivity. |
