Description
Summary:Shale gas revolution in Poland is over. But several years of shale gas investigations gave a methodic for prospecting and exploitation of various types of unconventional reservoirs. Tight gas reservoir rocks show 10 to 100 times greater permeability than shale reservoir rocks. It is the base to profitable exploitation these reservoirs. The paper relieved and ranked the polish sedimentary basins in context of possibilities of discovery unconventional and low permeable conventional reservoirs. The Miocene sediments of The Carpathian Foredeep, the polish part of the Rotliegend basin, the Carpathians and the Upper Silesian Coal Basin were taken into considerations. Advantages and critical points was discussed.
