Summary: | A technique is presented for reconstructing the height profiles of the volume emission rate and estimating the crosscut dimensions of rayed structures in auroras from the data of triangulation observations. A feature of the experimental data is the use of cameras that record radiation in a wide blue-green spectral range (380–580 nm) and a small distance between the cameras (4.12 km). The height profiles of the volume emission rate have been reconstructed for auroras with a pronounced rayed structure. |
