Summary: | Several normal sub pixel arrangements were introduced in this paper, including RGB Stripe and PenTile RGBG. The paper compared the advantage and disadvantage of each arrangement. The pixel of PenTile RGBG includes only two color channels, which causing the color leakage and image distortion. To solve this problem, two novel arrangements after light interleaved and light overlapped based on lens refraction were proposed. The results of image test and contrast experiment showed that the improved sub pixel arrangement can weaken color artifacts effectively. |
